uk
was formed initially in 2002 in
Manchester,
uk. Since that date they’ve developed an ever-increasing reputation for
captivating live performances….inspired by the guitar wizardry of chris
Appleton & a selection of hard rock compositions with the fantastic
ingredients of hooks, time changes, key changes, big solos & meaningful
lyrics. A band with riffs, attitude & a bedrock rhythm section to die
for.
Influences are best-summarised as iron maiden – meets – rush with a hint
of bon jovi. There’s diversity amongst the songs but overall Fury UK is
a blend of melodic hard rock & metal, with a progressive twist.
The band released a debut album in November 2005. “my tomorrow” has been
well-received by critics & fans alike & was undoubtedly the album the
band’s fans had been waiting for. Live performances came thick & fast
during 2006 including various headline shows such as Bolton Metal &
oxjam festivals. With increasing touring, press & radio coverage
worldwide, & the 2nd album release "Face Of Adversity" in March 2007, the stage is set for
fury uk to explode into the international rock awareness.
Marc Dawson. Joined
the band 2003
Probably the most diverse member of the
band. Bands this guy is into a range from Blink 182 to Soil. Provides firm
steady bass lines and melodic riffs. Also increases the women population in
the audience!
Dawson uses Ibanez and Fender bass
guitars, Laney & Peavey bass rigs. Occasionally uses an overdrive pedal.
Influences - Metallica, RHCP, Soil,
Slipknot, Billy Sheehan, Stu Ham, Flea, Jimi Hendrix, Lost Prophets & Bon
Jovi.

Chris Appleton.
Founding member and main writer of the bands material. Energy,
invention, showmanship and delivers the goods in the studio and especially
live shows!
Chris plays Gibson and Ibanez electric
guitars and Fender and Washburn Acoustics. He uses Engl heads and Engl &
Marshall cabs. Chris also uses a range of floor units, Boss, Digitech and
Marshall.

Adz Galloway. Joined the band 2002.Supplies a truly hard backbone, a solid beat and
crunch giving the music a constant drive.
Adz uses Premier Ltd edition drum kit, with various additional toms. Uses
Paiste & Zilgian cymbals and Pearl double pedal.
Influences - Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Chad Smith, Mike Portnoy, Megadeth,
Lars Ulrich, Whitesnake, Bon Jovi & RHCP
